Description

Suede is the back side of a leather that is sanded to give it a soft and supple appearance. It is coated with two water-repellent oils to protect the trainers from light rain.

The leather and suede come from farms in Rio Grande do Sul. They are tanned in Brazil according to REACH standards. Water use is controlled during the tanning process. The leather and suede are certified by the L.W.G. The leather and suede are certified by the L.W.G. (Leather Working Group) which promotes sustainable practices that have a positive impact on the environment in tanneries.
